The story thus far...
Since you probably don't want to know my personal history, and I don't particularly want to share it on The Internet, here is what is public knowledge.
I am a relatively easygoing person. I tend to be a spelling Nazi (although I freewheel a bit with grammar), enjoy technology, critiques of society, philosophy, the coming singularity, and seeing how technology influences our daily lives.
My undergraduate degree is from North Carolina State University -- which is better than your university, rankings be damned. During and after my undergrad career, I have been employed working in technology firms ranging from IBM to Sony Ericsson.
A year or so after my graduation, and a year into my "professional career", I realized that sitting in a dim room, silently staring at a computer screen for a dozen hours a day made me a sad, depressed, bitter person. So I resolved to change careers.
To that end, I am now back at NC State, specifically the Poole College of Management's Jenkins MBA Program. Here at Jenkins, I'm a HiTEC Fellow, working in Raleigh and the Triangle area in particular, and North Carolina writ large in general, to foster and develop entrepreneurial thinking and resources. And start a business. And make a fortune. And so on.
